This is 2009′s most artistic family portrait, forty inch wide Canvas Gallery Wraps. I am so thrilled to be asked to do something so unique. My client friend and I are both equally happy with it.  I know my clients trust me but is it rare that I am commissoned to have this much creative freedom. It is not often that I get this much creative fun because most people are not comfortable doing something more interesting than what they have seen their friends do.

We originally planned to put the dogs in the same image but decided a separate image would allow for more possibilites for displaying in her home.  A Canvas Gallery Wrap is a canvas portrait stretched and wrapped around artist stretcher frames just like many paintings are done. This presentation does not require a frame. A final protective coating is added to seal the image.

Another great benefit of doing this style of an image is that each family member is photographed individually so the absolute best portrait of each person is available to use. As one of my clients pointed out, if one member has a more difficult schedule, that person can come at a different time than the family as well.

I already miss these images, I think I will need a set for myself.
